A private incident log
Everyone says document everything. This is where you do it.
Kirokune is an iPhone app for logging work and personal incidents with notes, audio and photos. Keep unlimited records in one case for free, without creating an account.
You don't have to let it go just to get through the day. Write down what happened in your own words — or save a voice note or a photo — and it's saved on your iPhone while you decide what you want to do.
- No account needed. Open it and start.
- What you save is stored on your iPhone. The app never sends it anywhere unless you share it yourself.

Start with one small thing.
- The moment it happens
- One tap starts a recording — even when you can't bring yourself to type. A photo or a quick note works too.
- A timeline
- Put it in order later — dates, times, exact words. Nothing you already wrote gets changed.
- A conversation
- When you're ready, pull it into a summary you can walk someone through.
What you can do in Kirokune
- Write it down while it is fresh
- A short note in your own words is enough to begin.
- See events in time order
- Review the timeline alongside your original notes.
- Keep your records in one case
- Unlimited records. Add more cases with Plus.
- Import a chat export file
- Choose a file, without connecting your chat account. Its original text stays with the record.
- Prepare for a conversation
- Look back at what you saved, at your own pace.
How it works
- 1. Get it down
- Open the app and start a note, a recording, or a photo. No setup first.
- 2. Sort it later
- When you have the energy, group what you saved into a private case.
- 3. Look back
- Everything in order, exactly the way you wrote it.

Common questions
- Who can see my records?
- Your records are stored on your iPhone, and the app never sends them anywhere unless you export them yourself. If you back up your iPhone (iCloud or computer), your records are included in that backup.
- How do I document what's happening at work?
- Note the date, the time, where it happened, what was said, and who was there — as soon as you can. Kirokune keeps all of that together in one private place, in time order.
- Do I have to name the other person?
- No. A name isn't required — initials or a nickname you'd recognize later works fine.
- Does Kirokune decide what happened?
- No. It keeps your own record organized, and that's all. It does not diagnose, decide what happened, or give legal advice.
- What can I use for free?
- Save unlimited notes, recordings, photos and other records, organized in one case. No account or paid plan is required. Choose Kirokune Plus when you need additional cases.
- Is PDF export free? How much does Plus cost?
- Detailed reviews, PDF export, unlimited cases and removal of ads are included in paid Kirokune Plus. Monthly, annual and one-time lifetime purchases are available. Open the plan screen in Settings to check your local price and renewal terms before purchasing.
- Can I use Kirokune on Android?
- The app is for iPhone with iOS 17 or later. There is no Android app. You can save the website’s free worksheet and use it in your own notes without installing an app or creating an account.
- Does Restore Purchases recover my records?
- Restore Purchases checks access to your paid plan; it does not restore a backup of your records. Records are stored on your device. The app has no automatic sync or cloud storage of its own (if you back up your iPhone, your records are included in that backup). Keep your own copies of needed records and original files before deleting the app.
Save a chat export as a record
Choose a supported export file from Apple Messages, Messenger, or Instagram without connecting your chat accounts. Kirokune keeps the file's whole original text alongside the messages it can display, so choose the conversation and date range before exporting where the service allows it.
Before you hit record
Rules about recording and sharing a conversation vary by place and by situation. Before you record, consider letting the other person know, and check the rules where you are. Kirokune can't tell you whether a recording is lawful, or how it would be treated.
Available for iPhone
Kirokune is available on the App Store in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, India and other countries, with English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Portuguese interfaces. Download it free on an iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Optional purchases are available in the app.
Need help right now?
If you're in immediate danger or have an urgent medical concern, safety comes first — contact your local emergency services. For anything else, start with a local agency or a support service you trust.
You won't have to go from memory.
When you decide to talk it through — with someone you trust, HR, a lawyer, a support service — having it written down in your own words helps you explain what happened. Kirokune is available on the App Store. Start with a free note on your iPhone.
